Welcome to Weight Loss Design Patterns! My name is Thomas McDonald and I am the author of the book “A Programmer’s Design Patterns for Weight Loss.”
I am excited to share with you my unique approach to weight loss that draws inspiration from the field of computer programming and game development. I’ve always been passionate about technology, but my interest in health and wellness started when I realized that my sedentary job was taking a toll on my physical and mental health. I struggled with my weight and felt constantly anxious.
I knew I needed to change, so I started researching different weight loss strategies. I took the best strategies and combined them with my programming knowledge of design patterns to create a unique approach to weight loss. I applied these design patterns to my own journey and was amazed at the results. I lost over 45 pounds and my anxiety levels decreased significantly.
I realized that the strategies I had developed could help others simplify their weight loss journey, so I decided to share my story and the principles that helped me achieve my goals in my book “A Programmer’s Design Patterns for Weight Loss“
On this companion site, I plan to blog about health & fitness and provide updates on the book. I will also share my personal experience with different eating styles like Keto, Low Carb, and Paleo, provide you with a full-body strength training program, tips for getting a good night’s sleep, and strategies for reducing stress.
