About Weight Loss Design Patterns
Welcome! My name is Thomas McDonald and I have worked in IT for over 20 years. I have developed a deep passion for programming and technology throughout my career. However, I am also very passionate about health and fitness.
After losing a significant amount of weight, I realized I had learned some valuable lessons that could be applied to others’ weight loss journeys. That’s when I had the idea to take the principles of design patterns I had learned in computer programming and apply them to weight loss.
I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with others through my book, A Programmer’s Design Patterns for Weight Loss, and its companion website, weightlossdesignpatterns.com. I firmly believe that with the right mindset and tools, anyone can achieve their weight loss goals in a sustainable and healthy way.
When I’m not coding or working out, I love spending time with my family and exploring new places through travel. Overall, I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals, whether in technology or in health and fitness.
